Target Audience

My target audience will be for people who are interested at the genre magazine that the magazine will be offering, this is Hip Hop/R‘n’B and Dance. This will then draw the attention of the people who like the genre magazine. I will be doing this by fulfilling their needs so then more magazines are bought when they are released. The magazine is targeted at sixteen to thirty year olds but it could even grab the attention of younger and older ages depending on who is featured in the magazine. It is also targeting both male and female audiences because both genders can like this genre music. This magazine will be released worldwide this will then increase the number of issues sold because of this the popularity will grow. This magazine will attract all types of people. My magazine will be aimed at the A, B, C1, C2, D and E groups; it will suit all of these groups because we are not formal or informal in what we will be producing in the magazine. People from all walks of life can enjoy reading the magazine as long as they are into the genre music that is going to be for. The audience group that I will be aiming at with be the Outer-Directed, the people that make up this group are the belongers, emulators and achievers. These groups of people like to fit in with the people around them; they like to follow the celebrity trend of what is hot or not. They also like to be social so this magazine can offer this.
